About the Creator: Margaret Edmonson

Margaret Edmonson is a seasoned educator, media adviser, editor, and project manager with 23 years of experience teaching English, journalism, audio-video, and photography. Her student teams have produced award-winning yearbooks, online newspapers, and broadcast programs recognized at both the state and national levels. Currently retired after working as a teacher and journalism adviser at Comal ISD, Margaret also brings deep expertise in curriculum development, instructional design, and educational technology. Margaret is known for her ability to bring clarity and creativity to complex projects, manage cross-functional initiatives, and mentor students in storytelling and technical skills. Today, Margaret focuses on helping teachers leverage technology to deepen learning while making their jobs easier—reflecting her unwavering commitment to student growth, educational excellence, and the power of the media to inform and inspire.
