Christa Jang

Christa Jang is a Berkeley-based senior policy consultant with the California School Boards Association, where she steers K-12 leaders through the maze of state and federal education law and contributes policy analysis to California School News. Before assuming her current post in 2024, she spent three years as a CSBA policy consultant and earlier directed the EAST Initiative at eStem Public Charter School in Little Rock, mentoring students in tech-driven service-learning projects that reached regional and national conferences. Jang holds master’s degrees in Education and in Second Languages, plus dual bachelor’s degrees in English and World Languages from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, credentials that fuel her passion for multilingual, student-centered learning.
