Orsolya Cypert

Product Development and AI Strategy

Orsolya Cypert is an AI-driven product-strategy executive who served as the inaugural Chief Data Officer for the Cedar Rapids Community School District, where she was the architect for the district’s data infrastructure, analytics culture, and ethical AI initiatives after being recruited in 2024 from her industry work overseeing the U.S. Department of Defense’s training-readiness platform. Drawing on more than eight years of cross-sector experience, she mentors founders through the Upnotch network, helps early-stage teams achieve product-market fit, and is launching a seed-stage accelerator focused on data-driven ed-tech innovation. A frequent speaker on go-to-market alignment, human-centered design, and responsible machine-learning adoption, Cypert pairs rigorous analytics with a passion for creativity—in 2020 she released the reflective single “What Am I Supposed To Be,” underscoring her belief that art and technology enrich one another.

Chris McEnroe

As a classroom teacher, Chris McEnroe wove classic and modern literature with emerging ed-tech tools to cultivate grounded student understanding of close reading and iterative writing processes for over two decades. A SUNY Albany graduate with an M.A.T. from Union College and an Ed.M. in Technology, Education & Innovation from Harvard, McEnroe champions methodical, communal approaches to teaching and learning. His teaching experience in China and Australia has informed his global approach to humanities instruction. McEnroe's dedication to curriculum innovation has been instrumental in integrating digital learning into traditional teaching approaches. His expertise in curriculum design supports the creation of technology-enhanced learning environments, fostering digital fluency among students and educators alike. McEnroe's mission is to build dynamic learning communities where technology serves as a bridge to educational empowerment. By tapping into the transformative power of digital tools, he strives to equip both students and teachers with the agency and understanding necessary to thrive in an increasingly digital world.

Christa Jang

Christa Jang is a Berkeley-based senior policy consultant with the California School Boards Association, where she steers K-12 leaders through the maze of state and federal education law and contributes policy analysis to California School News. Before assuming her current post in 2024, she spent three years as a CSBA policy consultant and earlier directed the EAST Initiative at eStem Public Charter School in Little Rock, mentoring students in tech-driven service-learning projects that reached regional and national conferences. Jang holds master’s degrees in Education and in Second Languages, plus dual bachelor’s degrees in English and World Languages from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, credentials that fuel her passion for multilingual, student-centered learning. Now calling California home, she is known for demystifying complex legislation and forging collaborative bridges among school boards, community partners, and state agencies to help every district craft policies that put students first.
